Introduction
About Jonglei Women Empowerment Programme:
The Jonglei women empowerment programme was conceived and established in the year 2008 by Jonglei women. The purpose of establishment was to bring Jonglei women together for a common goal of empowering women in various aspects of life. The Jonglei Women Empowerment Programme (JWEP) will endeavor to contribute to addressing issues affecting women through the following thematic areas: i) Advocacy to women’s rights, ii) Support to dropout girls, iii) Women entrepreneurial initiatives, iv) Livelihood activities, v) Training at vocation centers.
